Aberdeen Property Investors the Netherlands

Aberdeen Standard Investments is dedicated to helping investors around the world reach their desired investment goals and broaden their financial horizons managing €501.2 billion* - of which 44.5 billion* is real estate- on behalf of governments, pension funds, insurers, companies, charities, foundations and individuals in 80 countries.

ESG is a fundamental part of the way we think about our real estate investments. It forms an integral part in all stages of our investment process and, is not considered independently, but analysed alongside all other material issues. ESG responsibility is embedded throughout all investment teams with overall accountability with our Chief Investment Officer.

Our commitment to ESG is demonstrated through our support of the 10 Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the six Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) (for 2020, our overall PRI Assessment Score is A+), and the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Many of the funds and asset investments we manage are run from our Netherlands office and we strive for ESG excellence incorporating ESG action plans for all assets, implementing low carbon technologies and constructing buildings with high rated green building certification. We have participated in GRESB since 2014 achieving the highest 5 star status for three of our funds.
