WGBC publiceert communiqué voor klimaattop

Aangemaakt op: 15 dec 2009

As you will know the climate discussions in Copenhagen are in full operation. December 11th 2009 marked an important day in Copenhagen for those in the Green Building Community as the Common Carbon Metric was introduced to leaders at the Conference.

Unique potential
Given the unique greenhouse gas abatement potential of green buildings and the readiness of the global property and construction industries to act, it is imperative that green buildings are central to any post-Kyoto framework. Paul King, the Chair of the WorldGBC’s Policy Task Force, and other GBC representatives (including those from USA, Germany, Turkey, Israel, France and Romania), are in Copenhagen to highlight this importance to policy leaders.
